Capercaillie hunting

With us, you can experience well-organized forest grouse hunting in magnificent, game-rich terrain, with a special focus on the capercaillie (*tiur*).

We provide a hunting guide accompanied by skilled bird dogs, ensuring the best possible conditions for your hunt. When you join us, we will take you directly to the haunts of the capercaillie. Once an adult capercaillie has established its territory, it remains there for the rest of its life—and we know exactly where those spots are.

Drawing on many years of experience with forest grouse hunting, we have accumulated a wealth of knowledge that we are happy to share.

The hunting grounds span over 70,000 *dekar* (approx. 7,000 hectares) and are beautifully situated in the Østerdalen valley. This is an exclusive, private hunting area featuring a diverse habitat that provides an ideal environment for forest grouse.

In recent years, we have welcomed guests from Belgium, France, England, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, the Faroe Islands, and Iceland—and we continue to broaden our reach.

More than 30 hunters have bagged their very first capercaillie with us.
